No Expletives! A Rec Competition Round 2

Each round I'll pick a genre and will take one song rec. The song cannot contain any profanity, curses, swears etc...
1Oathbreaker
Rheia

So this round I want a Black Metal song under 7 minutes and in addition to no curses or profanity I want NO anti-religious themes in the song.

EDIT: Any metal will be allowed but if it is not Black Metal I will knock off .5

Papa Universe
Yekteniya 2
This felt kind of expected, not bad by any stretch but expected. The drums rip though and the deep singing was interesting. Meh kind of in the middle with this... 3.3/5
3Bathory
Under The Sign of the Black Mark

Drifter
Woman of Dark Desires
This was even more expected and I was not a fan of these vocals.... but at least the guitar solo was entertaining 3.4/5

Our Names Written in Embers Part 2
Ahhhh some black metal with better screams and some melody! The drum buildups here are fantastic and expand on the guitar work in way that blends seamlessly. 4/5

These Nights Were Ours
Totally unexpected, who knew black metal could start off so chill only to explode into a frenzy of drums and hazy guitar riffs? The screams absolutely tear through everything, are throat ripping and are easily the most audible when they tone down, which is real nice. Love the way the segments of the instrumentals are sort of given limelight and brought in individually for specific sections, it kept the listening experience really enticing. 4.3/5

I Was Ignored. And Judged. And Cast Down
When the guitar melodies get bright and melodic in the mix it REALLY gives this track a lot of appeal and breaks up the more standard parts of this track. The doomy nature of the guitars really does create a dark and eerie vibe though. 3.9/5
7Misthyrming
Söngvar elds og óreiðu

calmrose
Friðþæging blýþungra hjartna
The buildup for this one is sick and when it does finally explode it is absolutely ferocious. I actually really like how clouded the vocals are the mix here it create a really unique atmosphere. Though by the time I hit 4 minutes I feel like I kinda got the picture and could have cut it off. 4/5
8Plebeian Grandstand
Lowgazers

hesperus
Endless Craving
This was wild throughout and the undecipherable vocals were alright this time around as this was sort of akin to listening to a converge song, in that it was all about the chaos and energy of it all. 4.2/5
9Altar of Plagues
Teethed Glory and Injury

Sinternet
God Alone
This one stood clear of being too generic for black metal but also I felt again like some parts could have been cut down or varied more. mehhh 3.4/5

Where Dead Angels Lie
The growled screams remind me of Vektor if you slowed down the vocals, but I love the way this one is setup and the guitar melodies/riffs were incredibly enjoyable. This hit some sweet spots for sure. 4.6/5

WINNER!!!
11Forteresse
Thèmes pour la Rébellion

SCREAM!
Vesperales
I had high hopes for what you'd rec for this bud seeing as this genre is your forte and lemme tell you, you didn't disappoint bud. I will say this though, my biggest gripe with the genre are song lengths. I feel once again I got the point at around 4 or 5 minutes and I could have done with less of the same stuff even if it was great. 4.2/5
12Shataan
Weigh Of The Wolf

Leave Behind
Black metal with some epic flute playing and highly audible bass? Count me in fam! This one struck a nerve as well. 4.5/5
13The Chariot
Long Live

David De La Hoz
(-0.5 for metalcore)
This was WACK, the guest vocals from Dan Smith were totally unexpected and work quite well. I loved the outro too, it was a beautiful. This was just a total surprise all around, fuck if this wasn't metalcore you would have had yourself and easy 5 sir.... 4.5/5 though with the -0.5

There Are Few Tomorrows for Feeding Our Worries

To Make Things Good Again
A unexpected, borderline black metal, influenced noise rock track that is just quick chaotic and crazy. No vocals in this case were fine by me. 4/5
