album art matters because it sets up the initial atmosphere of an album and the music you listen to is then associated to that feeling you get from it or the colors/images it portrays
@Darius 16 is even more haunting with the info that it is a drawn copy of a photo of a group of mountain climbers taken on the trip where they were all violently killed up on the mountain, it's what the album was based off of. sad and creepy stuff
