Space Jester 03.07.18	I always had the SE but I never knew who Bannon was until I got into Converge like five years later. I started noticing his style pretty easily after that, he did most of As I Lay Dying’s art too lol

In the LITSOS DVD he’s in wearing a These Arms Are Snakes as well as an ISIS hoodie. Also I read an interview way back west one of them said TOCS was really inspired by Thursday’s Full Collapse

Assemblage 04.15.18	Fully noticed that ISIS apparel as well. Was stoked upon seeing it tbh. As far as Separation being infinitely weaker than DTGL? I think Separation does what DTGL does in a more concise manner. There's not really a glorifying epic like Returning Empty Handed or Casting Such a Thin Shadow on there, but for me it's the shorter moments that hold much more impact like any of Aaron's vocal stuff, the two-punch of Coming Down is Calming Down and Desperate Times, Desperate Measures (both classic songs for U/O) and I think the album ends incredibly well with a great sense of closure. And Aaron's drumming is also much more interactive to me, it's an incredible performance in my opinion.
