Relinquished 02.28.18	I'm going to clubs (better yet, festivals) more than bar shows as sometimes they offer better soundsystems, which matters since I'm seeing DJs and producers play as of late. house parties at my age (which is 5 on yours) have become a bit gaudy and pretentious sometimes underneath. I grew up in Miami which is event-heavy and it really is a matter of money vs. location vs. type of event. I just do my research instead of curling up in a ball of meh just because clubs or dives I've been to weren't to expectations.

BeyondCosby 02.28.18	Dude, house parties are where it's at. Anyone who says they "grew out of" house parties is imagining a bunch of freshman pre-gaming, people getting sick in the bathroom, and drama. The thing about a house party is it can be whatever you want it to be. My friends and I still have the classic nights where we try to put down a keg or play beer pong, but we also have nights where it's a couple of us just sitting around doing a Power Hour or its just a bunch of different groups talking and listening to music. Plus, house parties are cheaper. House Parties can be as trashy or as chill as you want 'em to be, where as clubs are always going to be dancing and loud. Dives are fun but you don't always know what you're going to get. Some nights a dude might get sloppy and try to fight you. Some nights you might meet a chill person at the bar.

I like a drink in a dark room laced with tiredness

Pleased I don't feel the need to go on benders of that ilk these days. I can't handle the severe hangovers from those sorts of nights anymore regardless of cost.

Demon of the Fall 03.01.18	I would never host a house party, sounds very stressful. I'd be constantly worried about what might happen & people messing my place up. I don't even mean people 'going crazy'... even calm, civilised, 'mature' folk who I'm at least somewhat familiar with (lets call them acquaintances). One close friend stresses me out enough. I realise this is not a healthy attitude by the way.

Two of my favorite dives are considered pubs. I've never considered the difference. Let's get all of Sputnik together in one place to drink and blast some Mutoid Man while chugging cheap beer. DinosaurJones 03.01.18	I guess that's true about house parties... I never really thought about it like that. I guess my house parties now involve eating pizza, hot wing dip, & drinking seltzer (and maybe a beer?) and playing tabletop games.
pjquinones747 03.01.18	I like having two a month: One for getting blasted and another for getting almost as blasted but having different tabletop games set up throughout the house. We have like four seating areas with tables so it's a great place for game nights.
