Papa Universe 02.25.18	The Afghan Whigs Everyone's favourite butcherboy made a list to commemorate their newest release at the time, In Spades, and since nothing he rec'd was ever a miss, I thought I'd see what is up and now I am an avid fan. As simple as that. Blessed be, butcherboy.
Rolling Girl 02.25.18	I think it'd be Trivium? I'd been lurking on this site for a little while before I actually made an account but I joined a bit before Vengeance Falls came out. While my music tastes have changed a lot since then they're still one of my favorite Metal bands around.

Those got me hooked here and then I lurked and found all sorts of new music for a year or two here before making an account

MoosechriS 02.25.18	I lurked for a while looking at reviews and stuff, but i joined as i was looking to delve deeper into black metal as well as wanting to expand my horizons in other genres. I’d say Ash Borer 2009 demo was the release that started a lot of things for me on this site and was my gateway into the underground, from that release i found a slew of distros and small labels that cascaded over time and is responsible for adding to my pretty big music collection.

Masochist 02.25.18	Muse's 'Origin of Symmetry' back in 2008. I was already a fan of the band and song "Knights of Cydonia" thanks to Guitar Hero 3, but when I searched for more information on the band, everyone on this site said this was their best album. So I listened to this, and that led to them becoming one of my favorite bands at that time. Not so much anymore. But I still enjoy this album, and 'Absolution'.

Dedes 02.26.18	Maybe not my first but an early one that turned how to be one of the most earth shattering albums I came across would be The Mantle by Agalloch. It became a fucking addiction. It didn't hit me at first but the love swelled snd even now it's in my top 3. The year would be 2016.

Alastor 02.26.18	Ween - The Mollusk, 2012 AD. Stumbled upon it by sifting through countless Sput ratings. Sweven by Morbus Chron was probably my favourite and most important discovery on here, thanks to Hyperion's great review, but that happened a year later and it's already on the list anyway.

cold 02.28.18	Iris- Haunt Me While I don't remember my actual first few discoveries, this is the one that sticks out the most. I fell in love with this EP after only one listen and still consistently jam it. Conmaniac rec'd this in some random thread and I happened to see it, and I'm glad i did.
