Rec me post rock classics

2nd list in the series, same concept except post rock instead of folk. Rules below:
1He Was Eaten By Owls
Chorus 30 From Blues for the Hitchhiking

I'll be taking 20 album recs, 1 per user
2Bark Psychosis
Codename: Dustsucker

If i have an album rated by the artist you want to rec, it is ineligible
3Blueneck
King Nine

Rec must be under 250 ratings
4Crippled Black Phoenix
I, Vigilante

Rec must be an LP
5*Shels
Sea of the Dying Dhow

Alt

I've listened to this once before, but forgot to rate it, and this listen reaffirmed my previous opinions. Extremely solid post rock/post metal
4
6Barrows
Red Giant

Cometodaddy

Walks the line between post rock and post metal, and does it well. It never feels overly aggressive, or too restrained, making for n engaging album when paired with the psychedelic influences.

7.O.rang
Herd of Instinct

Frip

More tribalistic and raw than I expected, the album left me with a feeling of unease.
4.1
8Exquirla
Para Quienes Aún Viven

Bgillesp

Intense Spanish vocals, and captivating song writing, whats not to like?
3.8
9Athletics
Who You Are Is Not Enough

Snake

Emotionally intense post rock/emo, that unlike some of their contemporaries, manages to find the perfect balance between the two genres, making for a captivating listen.
4.2
10Storm and stress
Under Thunder and Fluorescent Light

Wren

I can't think of anything to say about this other than it'll need about 50 more listens for me to fully take it in
3.7
11Do Make Say Think
Winter Hymn Country Hymn Secret Hymn

Friv

Within the first few minutes of this album it is apparent that it isn't typical formulaic post rock. Do Make Say Think incorporate jazz leanings into their sound making for a different experience than most post rock bands provide. There are times on this that I felt were drawn out longer than needed, but overall this is an enjoyable piece of music that's rating will grow as I put more time into it.
3.6
12Hungry ghosts
Alone, Alone

Sint

Very minimalistic, and giving me some weird Arabian vibes. Owns.
4.2
13Caspian
Dust and Disquiet

Abe

Yet another album that straddles the line between post rock and post metal, Caspian are a fairly traditional post rock/metal band who occasionally throw vocals into the mix to change thigs up. The vocals work quite well, and are often folky in tone. There are some beautiful moments on this record.

14Youth Pictures of Florence Henderson
Youth Pictures of Florence Henderson

Sunnyvale

Serene music paired with fitting vocals makes for a winning combo
3.9
15(The) Slowest Runner (In All The World)
We, Burning Giraffes

Calmrose

Dark and brooding, while still maintaining some sort of semblance of hope. Takes you on a journey of emotional highs and lows.
4.1
16Spurv
Blader som faller til jorden og blir til nye trær

Jack

Post rock with a somewhat orchestral feel to it. If you like this, check out sleep dealer.
3.6
17The Evpatoria Report
Golevka

Sniff

Fairly standard post rock by the numbers done extremely well. Somewhat reminiscent of early Mono, with less classical flair.
4.1
18Riding Alone for Thousands of Miles
Brick City Ghosts

Greem

Sacrificing atmosphere for melancholy, both the band and album name are very fitting. Perfect music to stare out the window on a rainy day to.
3.7
19Grace cathedral park
In The Evenings Of Regret

Enzx

Nothing about this really stood out in a really good or bad way. It makes for great background music though, as it made my shopping trip to Walmart feel much more dramatic than it was.
3.6
20Paint the sky red
Not All Who Wonder Are Lost

Benthatsmyjamin

Typical post rock. There's nothing original about this, but it's very pretty, making for good music to zone out to.
3.3
21Three trapped tigers
Silent Earthling

Dino

The electronic and math flairs are a nice touch, but at times it makes the album feel robotic. This may have been what the band was going for, but I usually prefer my post rock to be a bit more lush. Still an enjoyable listen.
3.7
22EF
Give Me Beauty... Or Give Me Death!

JS19

The vocals on this are a very nice addition to an already beautiful album.
3.8
23Dirty three
Horse Stories

mortifierftw

Folky post rock that leans on the violin heavily. Manages to set itself apart from most other post rock bands because of this (stylistically)
3.7
24Dionaea
Still

Prancer

While the concept of combining post rock and grind is interesting in theory, the execution leaves much to be desired. At points this sounds like an unlawful marriage between chiptune and prog. It does have its moments though.
