Envy Albums Ranked
Forgot about my love for this band's material... Their blend of styles reaches a stride that seems unmatched sometimes. I wish I could call them one of the most consistent in my catalog but I wasn't feeling their last two as much. I have not heard their EP's. Also they aren't on Spotify. Wtf. |

I'm gonna have to put this first. It holds the most emotional resonance with me, especially songs like Go Mad and Mark and of course Reasons and Oblivion. I think their first two records were blended perfectly together to form this. |

Wasn't sure whether to put this or From Here to Eternity 3rd, but Further Ahead of Warp is perfection, and I can kinda vibe off of this as a whole a little more. |

Recitation
Swinging between a 3.5 or 4 or on this. Unfortunately after a while in some band's careers it's hard to distinguish between whether or not they start becoming predictable or just do enough to meet expectations. I feel like it's a little bit of both on this album, which doesn't make it bad. Maybe it's just bias. The slow start to the album isn't bad either, as Rain Clouds for a Holy Night delivers. You just have to let the music decide. It's simply this low because it's the first time I feel it might be getting a little redundant. |
