12.24.17 | In the Absence of Truth needs more love :( |
Gyromania
12.24.17 | Panopticon and oceanic > everything else |
Assemblage
12.24.17 | Yeah, it does suck that In the Absence of Truth is so low, and I had a hard time deciding between that and Wavering Radient, but I consider Celestial and SGNL>05 as one almost. I also have a major bias towards Mosquito Control for that quick fix, otherwise it would be Panopticon/Oceanic. |

12.24.17 | Dude one list per day, you've made like 7 already lol |
Gyromania
12.24.17 | It sucks that i can't talk about this band in public or sport any of their merch without idiots thinking i support terrorists |
Assemblage
12.24.17 | Yeah, sorry about that. No more for now, was just trying to catch up with my abundant lurking and picked out the easy stuff first. |
Assemblage
12.24.17 | I'd like an Isis shirt! Can't believe that's such a common misconception, like what would make more sense, for it to be an obviously designed graphic logo or someone unabashedly flaunting their affiliation with terrorism. |
Sinternet
12.24.17 | might be an unpopular opinion but mosul > raqqa tbh |
Assemblage
12.24.17 | That run from Will's Dissolve all the way to goddamn Grinning Mouths is testament to this. |
Assemblage
12.24.17 | To Sinternet, not familiar enough with current times to say :/ |
Gyromania
12.24.17 | So did we is perfect tho. |
Assemblage
12.24.17 | Definitely is. Just tracks 4 to 7 really feel like one big movement to me. So Did We is top Isis opener. So massive all the way through |
Sevengill
12.24.17 | ...huh. not how I'd rank it other than 8/9. no Red Sea either? |
Assemblage
12.24.17 | Ahh, I forgot about The Red Sea! It's been so long since I've heard it, I can't say exactly where it'd go. Will be one of my listens tomorrow. Even though some albums might seem low, I in no way dislike them. Wavering and Absence we're always the odd ones out to me. I've just noticed most often I go to single songs at a time from those albums as opposed to one way listens like the others. |
Avagantamos
12.24.17 | I love the red sea it's probably their heaviest release |
Confessed2005
12.24.17 | I love everything the band has done so I would have a hard time ranking them. |
cold
12.24.17 | "Celestial" def needs more lovin' |
Cygnatti
12.24.17 | HAMAS > |
teamster
12.24.17 | wtf kind of list is this....I quit... |
Orb
12.24.17 | 6 and 7 are laughably low on this list. Like what. |
Relinquished
12.24.17 | best thing about the Mosquito Control love is that they printed shirts for the record's remastered issue recently |
Relinquished
12.24.17 | celestial/sgnl 5 > in absence and wavering |
teamster
12.24.17 | Evok gets it... |
Desdinova
12.24.17 | STOP making rank list men thank |
BlackwaterPork
12.24.17 | The fuck is 7 doing so low... |
Assemblage
12.24.17 | Do most of you prefer ITAOT over Wavering Radiant? |
Orb
12.24.17 | 3rd and 2nd best in their discog, respectively. |
Relinquished
12.24.17 | who here actually checked 9? it's got some great cuts |
Orb
12.24.17 | I've not. Never been keen on remix albums unless it's heady DnB or Trap renditions of already-stellar heady DnB and Trap chunes. |
someguest
12.24.17 | list is missing Syria |
Deez
12.24.17 | 3 os 1 , real Gs know this. |
Assemblage
12.28.17 | Added The Red Sea to the list and I forgot how much it totally rips, so I made an adjustment to SGNL>05. Hard for me to put Wavering over Celestial since I tend to prefer their older drone stylings found on that record and the EP's so that's what edges it over for me, and the added key textures on Wavering somewhat annoys me despite it being "colorful" |
TecumsehGargoyle
12.28.17 | Libya is going to be the biggest one |
