Uni's 2017 Song Tourney

This will be the first list of 14 I will release within two weeks, culminating in my Fav Albums of 2017 on New Year's day. Lists will mostly be about the year as it was, but some are going to be more or less filler. In here though: GIVE ME ONE 2017 SONG, nothing more and nothing less. Just you favourite song from an album I have not rated.
1Swarms
Black Chapel Sun

DinosaurJones
Self Aware

Yeah, I'm sorry. Gave this two spins and it's not doing much. It doesn't even have any grower value. It just sort of exists purposelessly and only feels redundant and pretentiously atmospheric.
3.02

Will listen to the album? Don't think it's my kind of music.
2Moses Sumney
Aromanticism

wtferrothorn
Quarrel
What is this? RnB Radiohead? Whatever it is, I love it. The high-pitched vocals don't feel off or obnoxious. The song is just pure liberating levitation. It's soft, gentle and the harph is just goddamn gorgeous. And when it gets louder in the middle and goes on until the end, that's just invigorating, with the piano at the end. Moses, you damn wizard!
4.34

Will listen to the album? Seems like I won't regret it.
3Bardo Pond
Under The Pines

butcherbabe
Out of Reach
I'm tired...
2.55

Will listen to the album? I feel like I just have...

theBoneyKing
If We Were Vampires
What a sweet little tune. A heartbreaking story, a gentle instrumentation, a decent enough vocal component. It's a jam for the more sorrowful evenings.
3.78

Will listen to the album? I dunno, I don't like Country and all that, but it doesn't seem like it'll do me harm.
5Chief Keef
Two Zero One Seven

guitared_chuck
Fix That
Another one of those bland-ass, uninspired, dumb founded Chief Queef songs. It's as dreadful as anything this talentless hack does. No surprises here.
1.54

Will listen to the album? hahahahahahahahahaha
6Tall Ships
Impressions

ZombieToyDuck
Will to Life
The good kind of overwhelming Indie...
3.67

Will listen to the album? might if the mood is right
7Archspire
Relentless Mutation

Human Murmuration
I realised it only quite recently, but I fucking love Technical Death Metal! Thank you for showing me this.
4.05

Will listen to the album? Right away
8Eisley
I'm Only Dreaming

Divaman
A Song for the Birds
A bland-ass Indie Pop that there's been a multitude of in recent... always... as true as Divaman's warning about the album's quality may be, this song is pure boredom and uninspired musicianship.
2.10

Will listen to the album? I've heard about a 100 of albums like this, which felt like listening to about a 1000 of them, which means that no fucking way will I listen to it.
9Our Ceasing Voice
Free Like Tonight

DoofusWainwright
Monochrome
The vocals are crass indeed. I don't love them, I don't hate them. I believe they can work under proper arrangement and in a way this song did deliver upon that, but not so much that I would enjoy fully. It's a decent building tune, but it isn't particularly outstanding in any greater way.
3.54

Will listen to the album? If I do, it'll have to be quickly, otherwise I start thinking about how I actually dislike the vocals more and more and end up dreaming up a distaste for the album before I even hear it...
10Phoebe Bridgers
Stranger In The Alps

AsleepInTheBack
You Missed My Heart
You missed my head and went about a kilometer over it. bleh
2.37

Will listen to the album? heck no
11Head North
The Last Living Man Alive Ever

MarsKid
The First One
I don't get it. I should love this, but I somehow don't. It just isn't doing all that much for me. Eh.
3.21

Will listen to the album? I'm sure I can't rule off the entire album of songs I should probably like, so why not?
12Clowns
Lucid Again

Conmaniac
Pickle
Fuckin'el! This was a kick-ass track. The coarse shouting vocals and the wavy, trippy instrumentation with that good ol' heavy production. It's a tune to behold. Goodie good.
3.89

Will listen to the album? Might as well, what the hell, aye?
13Citizen
As You Please

neekafat
Discrete Routine
I love what it builds towards and when you get the long awaited explosion, it does sound fulfilling and cool. With that said, the buildup was boring as fuck.
3.31

Will listen to the album? Well, this song gave me an equal amount of zero clues as to what the album might be like, so sure, I might check it out.
14MIKE
MAY GOD BLESS YOUR HUSTLE

Frivolous
Pigeonfeet
That monotonous delivery and arrangement certainly has some charm to it, but...

Will listen to the album? ...I feel like I'll have to listen to the album to truly uncover it.

15Mutoid Man
War Moans

pjquinones747
Bandages
Yeah, I don't know about this one. It's an okay track instrumentally, finely sung and all, but it just has absolutely nothing to it whatsoever in terms of songwriting or even a punch. Everything seems flat and tired, even the guitar solo.
3.20

Will listen to the album? I don't feel like it
16Alfa Mist
Antiphon

Ulshad
Breathe
Slow, patient and almost meditative track that is just so damn smooth and slick. Like, god god, it's so fine and easy to get into. It's soothing, tender and has that nice off-the-wall attitude to it that is just a doozie to behold.
4.13

Will listen to the album? I probably should.
17The Luxembourg Signal
Blue Field

Kompys2000
Laura Palmer
All my instincts say I should hate this... but I just can't make myself. It's too naturally pleasing and pillowy soft to hate. I can't.
3.60

Will listen to the album? This has been enough. I'm afraid I'll actually hate the rest of it if I hear it in full, considering I tend to be rather dismissive of this Shoegazy Indie Pop stuff.
18Roselit Bone
Blister Steel

porcupinetheater
By The Glint Of Your Horns
I did not expect that. This has been some truly smooth stuff. Acoustic folky country-ish grooves with great buil ups and fantastic payoffs, once it turns all sonic and lous. oooooooooohhhhhhhhhh
4.32

Will listen to the album? yesyesyesyesyesyes
19Bent Knee
Land Animal

BlazinBlitzer
Insides In
That's that gentle, but subtly biting goodness I needed in my life. And Bent Knee have been praised for it in the past, but I need to repeat it myself now: the build ups lead to something magnificently massive!
4.27

Will listen to the album? I've heard two songs from it at this point, might as well finish the thing.
