12.10.17 | The rune puzzles were the only major flaw in the game, they got old pretty quick. But the rest of the game was amazing: it looked stunning; sound design was incredible; and the simplicity of the combat worked really well. The story was pretty good, and though easy to follow, was pretty unique in its own way. Though I would suggest avoiding the documentary included as it ruined what was left of the ambiguity and tells you everything they did with its development lol |

12.10.17 | The game deserves huge praise for its audio design. Not since the original silent Hill games had sound been such a huge and integral part of the game. The combat was OK but a bit too basic and long winded for my liking. I think some of those regular mob fights and boss battles dragged a bit which will make me less likely in wanting to replay it.
