Yet another rec comp 3

We're really flying through these, I'm too lazy to re write the rules, so if you forget them check last round.

Six
Combat Shock
I've been meaning to check these guys for ages, and now I regret delaying it. Exactly what I look for in sludge, bleak and relentless, it holds up throughout the entire song

[WINNER]
4Inter Arma
Paradise Gallows

Steak
Transfiguration
Another band I've been meaning to check out, this was a fun listen, not overly heavy, but a very good sludge/doom track
3.9
5Thou
Tyrant

Dedes
Fucking Chained to the bottom of the ocean
It's Thou, nothing else needs to be said
4
6The Body
No One Deserves Happiness

Chortles
Prescience
Dark and heavy, but at the end I felt like the song never really hit a climax

7Dark Castle
Spirited Migration

Scream
Flight Beyond
One of the four bands recced that I hadn't heard of along with Mountaineer, Jambinai, and Allochria, love the riffs on this

8Mountaineer
Sirens & Slumber

Abe
Adrift
Grungy post metal in the same vein as Steak Number Eight, who I love, so I'm glad Ii found these guys

Shock Me
These guys have always reminded me of Torche, making music that manages to be both sludgy and poppy. Fun track, but there's no teeth to this, I'd hardly call it sludge. It's damn catchy though
3.6
[RIP]
12Jambinai
A Hermitage

Wren
They keep silence
has no fucking Idea who these blokes were heading into this, but I really dug the song, sounds kinda tribal at points

13Allochiria
Omonoia

DinosaurJones
We crave what we lack
absolute beast of a track, flows well. makes the 7 minute runtime fly by
4
14Primitive Man
Scorn

Drifter
Stretched thin
I own this album just because of the track Rags, don't remember much else from the album including this song. It's heavy I'll give you that

TVC
Akuma no Uta
Riffs
3.9
16Abraham
An Eye on the Universe

Teamster
Saloon Bizarre
I've had these guys on my radar ever since I saw them on Kroner's post metal list. I was skeptical at the start, but about a quarter of the way through it picked up, sounds like cult of luna meets post hardcore
3.9
17Time To Burn
Is.Land

Nayeli
It's time to burn
4.1
18Battle of mice
A Day Of Nights

Sint
Salt bridge
I'm familiar with Julie Christmas due to her work with cult of luna and mouth of the architect, but have never checked her solo stuff. A slower/less heavy, but still has a sludge feel to it, wish she would have utilized her voice a bit more
