She used to have a sweet job to do that stuff more but shes been sick and lends me her food stamps since she doesn't even need them. AnimalsAsSummit 10.10.17	almost got my art history degree but bailed because i realized it was such a tumultuous ride - you can either go all the way, get tenure, teach, or become some guy working at a musuem for 9$/hr now i just about have my bfa for illustration
pjquinones747 10.10.17	Yeah that's the pitfall I'm really trying to avoid. Plus people who went for history say all the general required classes for a history degree are grueling before you get to the good stuff if American history isn't your fix.
SwanSoup 10.10.17	I was let go from my work after I got completely hit the wall and couldn't keep doing what I did, so i've been unemployed since the middle of august now. It's getting really tight with money and my worry is increasing every day, so I feel ya, man. I've also been suffering from depression and anxiety almost all my life, and it's coming to the point where I really have a hard time enjoying anything anymore, after I first got "fired" it was still summer and the sun was shining, i was so creative, wrote music like crazy, hung out with friends and could see myself progressing. Now I just feel stuck, nothing sounds good and I'm only annoyed as soon as I try to write music. Or lyrics. Or anything, and the weather is grey, it's raining, and it's already cold as fuck. I don't really want to die, but if this is what life is going to be then i'm not sure how long i'm going to be along for the ride. Mental illness is hell. Way to hijack your thread too, sorry man.
pjquinones747 10.11.17	Hey man, you don't gotta feel bad for talking. Sometimes it's really hard to stay the course of positivity with so much negativity around you, so your predicament definitely could lead to you feeling like you're in a pit. Try your best not to isolate yourself too much. Talk to your friends about it. No matter what their personalities are like if they're real friends, they will listen and be there for you. I know anxiety makes that hard, but sometimes the solution is an uncomfortable one. I hope all goes well for you man.

Spacesh1p 10.11.17	Pick your goal and just get something to get some money in the door. It'll help your bills and it'll help your confidence. Spend the spare time away from the crap job (anything) working towards the next goal. Just my 2c.

pjquinones747 10.11.17	No worries. My friend talked me up bigtime and told me what to expect in the interview, so I'm feeling pretty good. I've been working on my charisma in public as much as possible to prepare myself for this lol.
pjquinones747 03.14.18	Oh hey i was looking through my old lists and caught this. Currently messaging from my job at this logistics company (one of the ones i interviewed for that i talked about in this list) and its killer. Tons of people in this company dont even have degrees. That includes people high on the food chain. Have already gotten a raise and am in line for a promotion. This job is the shit. I've achieved consistency and confidence in a way I've never had before!
