Cool New Finds
Yoooooo been coming across from really great stuff lately and figured I'd share. Who's heard some of these? |
1 | | Falkenbach Heralding - The Fireblade
folk/black metal
Everything that irks me about most folk metal done so extremely well. 4.2/5 |
2 | | Institut für Feinmotorik Penetrans
glitch
Some glitchy goodness from de boyz over in Germany. 4/5 |
3 | | Carsten Jost You Don't Need A Weatherman To Know Which Way...
tech house
Heady ambient techno with just the right amount of warm house groovin over the cold spacious abyss. 4/5 |
4 | | Tchornobog Tchornobog
atmospheric death/black metal
Prepare to transport to a hellish dimension. AOTY? 4.3/5 |
5 | | Amebix Monolith
crust punk/heavy metal
Crust punk pioneers strike the perfect balance of anarcho punk and heavy metal here all while mastering more of a focused sound. I know Arise is great but I like this one even better. 4.3/5 |
6 | | Bauhaus In the Flat Field
post-punk/goth
If you're into goth and/or 80's post punk you'll realize what you've been missing out on like 30 seconds into the album and it won't let up. One of those albums that gets your blood flowin a little differently, 4.5/5 |
7 | | T.Raumschmiere Heimat
ambient techno
It's just a very fun album. This should explain it better! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KMeFzEOX8Kc 4.3/5 |
8 | | Bezmir Void
atmospheric black metal
An album that relies on it's suffocating atmosphere to encapsulate fairly simple progressions and structures but with great success. 4/5 |
9 | | His Hero Is Gone Monuments to Thieves
sludge/crust punk
The ashes of the band Tragedy. I feel like this aesthetic better fits them, especially for front-man Todd Burdette. Both great bands. 4.2/5 |
10 | | krill.minima Nautica
ambient/dub techno
A nice wash of aural bliss. Aww yeeah. Listen to this shit late into the night and/or on a submarine at the bottom of the ocean. 4.1/5 |
