Underrated Albums
A collection of some albums I think deserve more praise than they get. Also I'll probably start making more lists, this is fun. |
1 | | Foster the People Supermodel
Catchy and fun as hell |
2 | | Sleeping With Sirens Let's Cheers to This
I thought this album would be hot garbage before listening to it, but curiosity got the best of me. Ended up really enjoying it |
3 | | Logic Everybody
Excellent production and a lot of strong tracks |
4 | | Tyler, the Creator Wolf
Only because of my nostalgia tied to this. This in 2013 will always be his best album |
5 | | George Clanton 100% Electronica
Listen to this now if you like vaporwave or anything resembling modern electronic music pretty much |
6 | | The Knocks 55
Very fun and carefree singalong songs |
7 | | STRFKR Being No One, Going Nowhere
Relaxing but also really danceable, full of fun choruses and lovely synths |
8 | | The Neighbourhood Wiped Out!
There's something about this album no other album has. Jesse Rutherford's voice soars over every track and fits perfectly. It's unique, catchy, cohesive, and really damn lyrical when it needs to be. |
9 | | Wavves Afraid of Heights
Everyone seems to think this is just average nostalgic grunge music, but I thought the whole thing was well written and enjoyable. |
10 | | Kanye West 808s and Heartbreak
It is [current year] and people still dislike this album |
11 | | Arcade Fire Everything Now
This is certainly their worst project but it's still a fun album, 3 to a 3.5/5 |
12 | | Bruno Mars 24K Magic
Honestly anyone who doesn't like the title track has probably never had fun in their lives |
13 | | Bryson Tiller T R A P S O U L
I adore every single track on here. Not a thing I think Bryson did wrong here. New album is a whole other story though, sheesh. |
14 | | Sworn In The Death Card
Edgy, I know. But the pure anger in Tyler Dennen's voice complements the wickedly sinister guitar riffs very well. And the breakdown on "Death" is easily my favorite breakdown ever. |
