rec roulette round 3- I prog. Can you?

Stuff about rules. We all hate each other. Especially butcherboy and UniqueUniverse. Frippertronics is the other competitor. I'm a judge.
1Devin Townsend Project
Deconstruction

The title seems self explanatory but I'll give you some rules anyway. Rec me prog. Rock or Metal. Or another genre if it can be defended as significantly proggy. Find me a new favorite prog album to unashamedly love.
2Black Mountain
In the Future

Bike Horn
Well, one thing is for certain. UniqueUniverse cannot prog. Genre failings, aside this indie psych album was enjoyable and interesting in many places. It did, however, get a bit repetitive and never really had and major high moments. 3.4/5 -0.2 for not being prog.
3Slapp Happy and Henry Cow
Desperate Straights

Filet Man
It is apparent right away when putting on this album that those who created it truly have great musical minds. Despite that, the weirdness of the album took quite a few listens to grow off of me, but the songwriting was strong enough to keep me coming back for that process. Right now, I'll leave this as a 4.3/5 because I still feel the quirkiness, while part of the atmosphere, takes some set from the actual enjoyment of a listen. *Winner* [edit] not anymore
4Todd Rundgren
A Wizard, A True Star

Gloppertronics
I feel like your descriptions are accurate here when you describe side A. This album had some awesome and fun proggy moments to compete with the best of them in its first half, and they aren't too bloated for reality. I do not, however, agree that it's second half is a perfect complement. It feels much more like a side full of ideas that never got whittled down to the best, and is a more tedious listen until the last two tracks bring it up to the glory of side A. For that I give it a 4.1/5 for now.
[edit] This is really good 4.4 winner
