Starting things off here with a more modern, pop punk sound. This one has more edge to it than something like man overboard or something though. Song is fun and full of spunk, video was sweet.

The (only?) garage-y rock jam that was rec’d, and it was pretty cool. The song starts with an acoustic/vocal duet until the rest of the band comes in jams out. The vocals stay consistent while the band messes around with the sound a bit over the course of the track. It’s a tasty piece of psych rock-jammy goodness.

An ironic album name considering this jam was pretty tight. Probably the most hardcore/post hardcore song given. The song has riffs galore and is just overall a hell of a good time. Gang vocals were a nice touch.

Oh man this one screams 90s punk (certainly not a negative). The first half is pretty standard jammin’ and energetic. Great lyrics. The outro/second half of this song I think is where it really shines. Feels like a long farewell in auditory form.

Catchy and grooves pretty hard. Dug how iggy’s delivery sounded apathetic until reaching the end where he shows more vocal theatrics, suited the song well. Finger tapping good fun.

Ugly and grim sounding, “You Nought Me” is an interesting ride. A swirling vortex of guitar strums, monotonous yet sometimes deranged vocal delivery, and near-droning basslines. The piano and bustling inorganic noise barrage at the end was a dope way to send the track off.

Sweet mama jesus that bassline. The drums and bass are the driving forces behind the track while the guitar and vocalist appear intermittently, as if theyre along for the ride. Despite this, they both add a good deal to the song and the vocals fit the tone perfectly.

A short jam but a rad jam. Has a near post hardcore feel, despite only coming out in 81, certainly ahead of it’s time. Interesting and expressive vocals, that short lived slow down in the middle of the track was cool.

Was only able to find the live version on youtube bc of copyright/label nonsense but the live version was pretty sweet. Certainly got the idea of the song regardless. The intro was gnarly and built up tension before the song bursts out into full punk rock mode. The slowed down section was cool and built the song back up, definitely helped the song get some extra oomph.

A delicious piece of anime punk rock. Everyone involved was great and the song is full of spirit. Loved the short lived solo towards the end. While this jam was rad, it was not enough to boost the avg out of the elimination zone though :(
Ov died so GG could live. Pour one out for the fella.
