albums for the year of our Lord 2017 i've listened to more than ten times according to my stupid music playing device in no discernible order other than when they spring to mind and then from when i check my player to see what i missed. rec me stuff pls.
The light struck upon the trees in the garden, making one leaf transparent and then another. One bird chirped high up; there was a pause; another chirped lower down. The sun sharpened the walls of the house, and rested like the tip of a fan upon a white blind and made a blue finger-print of shadow under the leaf by the bedroom window. The blind stirred slightly, but all within was dim and unsubstantial. The birds sang their blank melody outside.

realised making this that heaps of my favourites from this year (The Necks, new Actress, Arca, Jens Lekman) i haven't listened to all that much, and some of these wouldn't even make my top 50... music is a funny wee thing
