If you absolutely must move to the UK do your research, York & Brighton are cool for example & still interesting, choose any London location carefully. Yeah, basically, unless you want rural solitude, be careful.

Evenoss 07.23.17	I'm french but I would say Berlin (the cheapest), Oslo, Stockolm or Geneva for you. Very cosmopolitan and pleasant-living cities. Barcelona/Madrid are also great but the economic situation of Spain is still quite complicated. Paris is beautiful but it's far from being the best place to live in France (Lyon, Toulouse or Nantes are definitely a better choice). However, the unemployment rate is still 9.5%.
Wolfhorde 07.23.17	Scandinavia is good, Norway is expensive though comparatively afaik. Switzerland is a good place but same as Norway. Austria is nice (Vienna and Graz particularly), in Germany cities like Hamburg, Berlin and Munich although I'd rather recommend the more Northern cities (Munich is the most expensive Northern cities are usually more progressive here). The Netherlands is probably pretty good as well, Amsterdam is gorgeous. In terms of Eastern Europe I'd guess the Czech Republic would probably the easiest for transition and in terms of progressiveness, usually I'd also say Poland but their politics have also increased in right tendencies. I'd avoid the Romanic countries for the most part due to their economic issues and finding work there might be hard.
