1Between the Buried and Me
Colors

This album got me into Technical Death Metal and I have never been able to get bored of it.
2Seventh Wonder
Mercy Falls

Cheesy voice acting, but the music is very good and this is one of the few concept albums that is not overly difficult to follow on your first couple of listens. Also Tommy Karevik is an amazing vocalist.
3Opeth
Blackwater Park

Beautiful album. That's all I can say.
4Symphony X
V: The New Mythology Suite

Corny song names I guess but I think this is Symphony X's best album
5Dream Theater
Metropolis Pt. 2: Scenes from a Memory

There are other Dream Theater albums I could have put on here like Images and Words, but this is a masterpiece of a concept album.
6Circus Maximus
The 1st Chapter

The epic at the end is one of my favorites. Love Erkisen's voice as well.
7Persefone
Spiritual Migration

I never really see this one on many lists, but I think this album has a nice flow to it and is great to listen to all at once.
8Animals As Leaders
The Joy of Motion

One of the grooviest albums I've ever heard. Has amazing rhythms and thumping patterns by Tosin throughout.
9Haken
The Mountain

Love the quartet portion in Because It's There and overall a great album.
10Periphery
Juggernaut: Omega

I know there are a lot of Periphery haters but I like the band's style and this is one of their best albums.
