Disturbed vs. Avenged Sevenfold

Disturbed and Avenged Sevenfold. Two of the most notable bands in modern Heavy Metal. They both started out with a sound completely different than the one they're both know for today (Avenged Sevenfold started out as a Metalcore band and Disturbed started out as a Nu Metal band). With their third albums, they completely abandoned their original sound for a Heavy Metal sound. Which of the two do you prefer?

Vs. Avenged Sevenfold's Waking the Fallen

Both of these albums expanded on the sound of their debuts. Waking the Fallen leans more towards Heavy Metal than Punk Rock, has guitar solos, and noticeably more clean vocals. Believe has more emphasis on melodic dynamics and more of an Alternative Metal/Hard Rock sound.
