| Top 9 all time, 8 from UK
My favs, sorry to repeat your favs as well, classics, prog classics, nothing out of the ordinary.. 8 from Uk, 1 from Canada | | 1 | | Pink Floyd The Dark Side of the Moon
Pop-rock, excellent recorded classic. Sorry for being obvious. If this is the five-star album, all other choises are in shame. Breath and a Great Gig are timeless, worth living for. | | 2 | | Genesis Selling England by the Pound
Again, apologies for the obvious. Incredible keyboards, great lyricism, great melodies, I was born 2 decades too late! Why did Peter Gabriel split? Foolish...... | | 3 | | Yes Fragile
Pink Floyd is my top 1. But, individually, Yes is better. Squire (rest in peace, sir) was better than than Waters. Wakeman is better than Wright (rip), Brufford and Howe are technically better than Mason and Gilmour, but the later are so good together... anyway, apart from Anderson's vocals, I love Yes. | | 4 | | King Crimson In the Court of the Crimson King
I still can't believe this was recorded in the 60's, crisp sound, rich melodies. | | 5 | | The Beatles Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
Another album way ahead of its time. These guys are probably billionaires from the future who leisurely travels to the past to get all the girls. Where did their ideas come from? Apart from Lucy in the Sky... | | 6 | | The Rolling Stones Exile on Main St.
The bad Beatles. They nailed the british blues, in such way I prefer their version to date. You can tell personalities from band preferences such as: Led Zep or Black Sabbath? Eatles or the Stones? In the later, both. | | 7 | | Led Zeppelin Physical Graffiti
Nothing new, sorry folks | | 8 | | Porcupine Tree The Sky Moves Sideways
90's , 00's band to make the list. S. Wilson is a genius, bad music taste, but incredibly talented musician. Pick up the guitar more often, Sir Wilson! Everyone's greatest wish is the band to gather again. | | 9 | | Rush 2112
Only non-brit band to make my fav list. Peart is a genius, the trio is unison, fantastic. | |
