The part that no one wanted

Part 2.
1Tall Ships
Impressions

3.5 [indie pop and post rock] last minute entry with a great Sowingcore album.
2The Magnetic Fields
50 Song Memoir

3.0 [indie pop-ish] I’m not entirely sure this should be considered an album rather than a memoir but hey. Some parts is bound to drag when you make a 2.5 hour long indie album. But other parts are aight and judging the theme and lyrics this is rather special.
3PC Worship
Buried Wish

3.0 [post punk] fuzz thick as a wall and lo-fi indie on the same record with punk aesthetics. Worth a listen.
4Tigran Hamasyan
An Ancient Observer

3.0 [piano jazz, classical] more classical than his other work
5Fen
Winter

2.5-3.0 [atmospheric black metal] not feeling it but people seem to so check if you’re into the genre I guess
7Sir Was
Digging a Tunnel

2.5 [outsider pop is now a genre to me] FFO: a hazy Jens Lekman
8Ronald Bruner Jr.
Triumph

2.5 [rnb, soul, funk] wish he’d stick to playing drums cos the instrumental parts of this are cool but vocals and lyrics are off the mark by a longshot.
9Mark Kozelek
Night Talks

2.5 [marky mark] let’s wait a while before the next release shall we Mark?
10Coldharbourstores
Wilderness

2.5 [hipster pop] if you dig that genre you’d probably dig this
11Jacques Greene
Feel Infinite

2.5 [house] not my kind of house and I found this to be rather boring im afraid
12Fire-Toolz
Drip Mental

2.5 [experimental electronica maybe this is a hard one] Blood on the Dance Floor meets Pharmakon meets the internet generation. This is a god damn mess with terrible songs but for some reason I cant stop listening.
13Sorority Noise
You're Not As ____ As You Think

2.5 [pop punk, emo] first three tracks in and after that this gets boring
14Porter Ray
Watercolor

2.5 [hip-hop] couple of good tracks where the topic of his brothers death is real touching but most of this is flat flows and not that very special lyrically.
15Pygmalion
Supersymmetry

2.5 [instrumental progressive metal] rather boring but with some cool ideas sprinkled across.
16Goldfrapp
Silver Eye

2.5 [electronic pop-ish] a lot of boring pop tinged tracks and some cool downtempo-esque tracks. Lacking in dynamics maybe.
17Raekwon
The Wild

2.5 [rap] feels understandably kinda phoned in. Also who features Lil Wayne. Ever.
18Eldstad
Hamnstad, hemstad

2.0 [post hardcore, emo, indie rock] not now, not ever should screamo/hardcore bands go in the direction of indie rock cos we all know they can
19DJ Jayhood
KING

2.0 [house, EDM, whatever sub genre] hint this album is not KING
20Aridia
Dereliction

2.0 [deathcore] this is one song and it’s quite lame.
21Author and Punisher
Pressure Mine

2.0 [industrial] not very good I’m afraid.
22Aaron Sprinkle
Real Life

1.5 [CCM, childish pop bs] here’s to me not being familiar with the abbreviation CCM. Listened to this because I thought the album cover was a rather funny joke. Apparently it wasn’t irony having that album cover
23Ed Sheeran
÷

1.0 […] this is bad, real bad.
24Zara Larsson
So Good

1.0 [meaningless pop bs] So Bad.
