5 "Fun" bands to listen to.

While listening to brutal music like Emperor, Cannibal Corpse, Behemoth, Meshuggah ect. is awesome to listen to, sometimes it is nice to listen to something a bit more relaxing and chill. Also, these are in no particular order. I was considering Weezer, but I don't know them enough to put them on here.
1blink-182

Known for their whimsical writing and just catchy riffs, these 3 took a focus on fun rather than musicianship. But with catchy songs like Dammit and Josie, who can blame someone for just wanting to have fun.
2The Offspring

Catchy power-chord riffing, higher vocals, a sense of humor, and decent musicianship, these guys play to have fun and can certainly get a smile or two in their songs. While some songs are a bit more meaningful and less playful (The Kids Aren't All Right and You're Gonna Go Far Kid), they can still touch a serious subject and get a few laughs (Self Esteem, Why Don't You Get A Job).
3Iron Maiden

It is Maiden, though a bit more serious than others on this list, the riffs are amazing, Dickinson is a legend on vocals and great solos allow for more serious songs to exude a joy of music and metal. m/
4Bowling for Soup

I know, another pop-punk band, I'm noticing the trend too. Love them or hate them, they don't take life too seriously and have a sense of cynical humor in many of their songs. These guys just wanna have fun and I can't argue with the lighthearted results.
5Amon Amarth

Probably the heaviest on this list, they do have some nice melodies and their music and the concept of viking metal is both enjoyable and not angst ridden. Will this make it on many lists, probably not, but I find it a bit relaxing and fun.
