theBoneyKing 03.18.17	Nice Doof. A year later and I still only know 24 of your top 101 songs. The descriptions did make the old list something special but most of them would be redundant.
theBoneyKing 03.18.17	88 is probably my favorite of the songs that I've heard for the first time since the original list - absolutely incredible song. Love that whole album too even though I know you don't.

I like the depressive cinematic quality to the 'Either Or' picks up there so that's why they made the cut - but believe me there are 30 songs lined up right behind them. As I get to know the other albums better that list will grow too. The spoken word tune 'Jack' is brilliant as well.

This must have been a really hard list to make, and In that sense I really have to tip my hat to you Doof. Personally my top 17 would probably be something like (unranked) : Talking Heads - Listening Winds, The Velvet Underground - Heroin, Radiohead - Climbing Up The Walls & How To Disappear Completely, Modest Mouse - Teeth... & Stars... & Lives & Life... (lmao wish I was joking), Pink Floyd - Us and Them, Leonard Cohen - Dress Rehearsal Rag & Famous Blue Raincoat, Alice in Chains - God Am & Rotten Apple, Built to Spill - Made Up Dreams & Untrustable Part 2, Smashing Pumpkins - Tonight, Tonight, Nirvana - Serve the Servants, oh and look at that...my ratings were magically wiped while I was writing this comment. how lovely

theBoneyKing 03.18.17	That's neat Doof. I don't listen to individual songs enough to really know what my top 100 songs are aside from favorites from favorite albums. Realistically there would also be some random popular songs that I never actually listen to actively in my top 100 songs because nostalgia, but I probably wouldn't think of them if I were to make a list like this.

Dylan620 03.18.17	Quality list Doof, I love almost every tune I know on here (which is admittedly only 25% of the list). I'd pick 6, 15, 24, 41, 48, and 81 as my favorite tunes from what I've heard by each respective band (though in Mercury Rev's case I've yet to venture beyond Yerself and Deserter's) I must say though, I'm a tad surprised to see 16 outside the top 10 and the only Gav song on the list

Divaman 03.19.17	I agonize just to pick a Top 20 songs for each year. About the only thing I could tell you off the top of my head is that if I did a Top 100 Songs of All Time list, Pink Floyd's "Wish You Were Here" would be on it, and "Welcome to the Machine" also.
