i know it sounds crass and i'm not denying that LGBT are still stigmatized but having worked with a transgender in a festival merch job I have to say their blatant persecution (And entitlement) complex almost invited the animus they believe they received, though I never saw anyone be overtly unfriendly toward them beyond a few customers ogling at them from a distance; but it wasn't necessarily out of spite it was simply because this individual was peculiar looking to say the least and you often can't help but stare.
They were so aggressive at the slightest hint of someone acting unnaturally too and would complain about it for the rest of the day.
I'm not generalizing for all trans but in this case it seems like a bit of a self fulfilling prophecy imo. | Flugmorph
