Sniff 02.28.17	Minus the Bear – Voids 3.0 [math rock, indie rock] quite poppy. Didn’t leave a significant will to relisten imo. Deltawerk – Passages EP.2 3.0 [house] one song of og-content and two remixes that differ a lot from that. Cool nough Violet Cold – Anomie 3.0 [black metal, experimental folk whatever] cut the cheese, produce better especially the first track and then we can talk The Menzingers – After the Party 3.0 [pop punk] tbh a genre that never has connected with me. Lyrics are relatable from time to time tho. Catchy, upbeat and all that. Iron Reagan – Crossover Ministry 3.0 [crossover thrash] mindless fun
Sniff 02.28.17	Lorna Shore – Flesh Coffin 2.5 3-ish [deathcore] it’s deathcore no doubt. Julie Byrne – Not Even Happiness 2.5 [folk, dream pop, singer songwriter] Marissa Nadler not as good-version. Ty Segall – Ty Segall 2.5 [snooze] has like 2 cool parts on a whole. Not enough! Fla.mingo 2.5 [chillwave, synth pop] equal parts annoying synth pop and kind of cool chill wave. Alex Kozabolis – Weightless 2.5 [classical, remixes] too bad the oc parts from Alex are just 4 short piano ramblings. Remixes is where it’s at and they go pretty hard tbh. The fact that the greatest part of this is remixes keeps me from giving a higher score. Oddisee – The Iceberg 2.5 [hip hop] I rather he stay with producing tbh his rapping is kind of bland. Katre – Encounters 2.5 [post rock] painfully average post rock with weird soulless guitarsolo like parts and demolike production. Acres – In Sickness and Health 2.5 [post hardcorerock] very scene, much too old for this, huge Devil Sold his Soul influence, wow such mediocre. Rat Cage – Caged like Rats 2.5 [classic punk, hardcore] every other minor threat sounding band out there sounds like this. Eldamar/Dreams of Nature – Split 2.5 [black metal, atmospheric] my man Scuro recs not as cool bm for yall Black Anvil – As Was 2.5 [black metal, heavy metal] not sexy. Does carry some riffs tho. Worthless Life – Conscious in a Coma 2.5 [dsbm] depressive black metal often lacks in the songwriting department imo. This is no exception. Glesbygd’n – En smak av tjära, blod och sprit 2.5 [reggae] reggae band from my hometown that seem to have lost their roots Uniform – Wake in Fright 2.5 [noise rock, hardcore, industrial] not big on the industrial parts of this tbh Dirty Projectors – Dirty Projectors 2.5 [“art pop”] No this doesn’t hold up. Soen – Lykaia 2.5 [90’s prog metal] at least some parts of this doesn’t suck. But here’s to hoping 90’s prog metal died in the 90’s. Also lycis are corny af

Urochromes – Night Bully 2.0 [pitchfork punk] I don’t know why I listen to punk pitchfork recommends. I know it’s not going to be good beforehand but I still do it. Moongates Guardian – Let Horse be Bridled, Horn be Sounded 2.0 [black metal, folk] worst combination of genres Porter Robinson and Madeon – Shelter 1.5 [dubstep, electronic pop] crap Big Sean – I Decided 1.5 [hip hop] remember when rappers had something to say? Jens Lekman – Life will See you Now 1.5 [joyful pop] boring pop for even more boring people.

JamieTwort 03.04.17	Nice list for the most part. "Astrea Sleeping With Her 3.0 [house] decent production and all but I can’t stand the traditional vocals utilized in house. I’m sorry." 'Traditional vocals' are utilized in a grand total of 2 tracks on that album (and those 2 tracks would probably be the two weakest if instrumental) so I'm surprised the vocals are that much of a problem for you. Also 63 is easily Fog Lake's best release to date, love it.
