| A Few Rock Bands Not To Choose As A Supporting Act
Title says it all. | 1 | AC/DC
Such an incredible live band, they would overshadow anyone who came after them. Even today, they are formidable live, and so energetic. Definitely don't pick them. | 2 | Guns N Roses
Earlier in their career, they would probably be better than you in the crowd's minds. They were also incredibly energetic. Today, they're so bad live, it would suicide to pick them. A big no. | 3 | Nirvana
They would probably destroy the set, leaving you nothing to play on. This doesn't include the unplugged performance, this is their electric live performances. Not only that, but Cobain loved to destroy Smells Like Teen Spirit live because he hated it so much, which probably wouldn't have sat well with the audience. | 4 | Red Hot Chili Peppers
Their later stuff- BSSM/OHM to present. You just wouldn't, would you? How do you continue after Under The Bridge? | 5 | Limp Bizkit
On the other end of the scale. They suck so badly that half the audience would leave, possibly only 10 minutes after Fred Durst took to the stage if you were lucky. Well, maybe they wouldn't show up. | |

08.30.08 | too bad these are all headlining acts? | joshuatree
08.30.08 | i dont think any band could choose these bands as supporting acts, besides maybe limp bizkit nowadays | BallsToTheWall
08.30.08 | Thor dropping the hammer. | ohcleverhansyou
08.30.08 | So...good live bands? | Spamue1G
08.30.08 | The idea of this is that, at whatever era, you wouldn't really want to pick these guys to support you. Well, early RHCP is a different story. It was just an idea i had. | Electric City
08.30.08 | I wouldn't pick Nirvana as a supporting act because their only interesting member is dead | Spamue1G
08.30.08 | Again, I think you missed the point. I know Kurt's dead, the point is that I wouldn't pick Nirvana when they were together | Erratic
08.30.08 | Where's Iron Maiden? | Spamue1G
08.30.08 | Note- This is not a top 5 list, nor a metal list. Hence, no Iron Maiden, and many others. | spoon_of_grimbo
08.31.08 | anyone who was to witness limp bizkit live without having intended to, would surely set fire to their own ears and punch themselves in the face until death's sweet embrace arrived. and having that kinda shit going on in the crowd is always going to be a buzzkill for the headliners on afterwards... | badtaste
08.31.08 | yeah, you could have just chosen top bands. |
