Astral Abortis 02.14.17	Yeah solo queuing with morons who have no idea how to form a good team comp is annoying but that's not really the game's fault. In the higher levels of ranked that becomes a nonissue. In social play it's a nightmare.
Calc 02.14.17	overwatch is fantastic but once you get on that losing streak and fall into diamond its over. people are too stupid to play with.
Astral Abortis 02.14.17	If I play ranked and lose a match, I don't play ranked for the rest of the day. Overwatch has a really dumb levelling system which lumps you in unfairly with varying levels of players who are either performing really well or really poorly. If you are stuck in a game with a seemingly idiotic team when you first line up in ranked for the day, then you're guaranteed to be stuck with mongs for the every other match until you reboot the game. If you're stuck with winners immediately then that streak continues. It's a system that doesn't reward the player's own consistent play, which I really hate because it relies too heavily on team comp for levelling up and punishing individual players even if they're carrying a bad team.

AsleepInTheBack 02.14.17	"the lack of content is notorious as hell" If you think thats an issue then you are missing the point; the amount of replay value in that game, despite the fairly small map pool, is insane, it revolving around the different team compositions, match ups, tactics etc. Also you can't really complain about the micro transactions when they are in no way necessary (you being able to get what ever you want just by playing without having to spend a ridiculous amount of time) and considering they've been pumping out free dlc maps and characters since launch, as well as continually rebalancing things, I'd say its worth the money

[2] No Man's Buy was so fucking repetitive and boring. My friend was so upset that we made fun of how huge it was yet so fucking empty. Patches can only do so much and by then no one will even care anymore. The concept was awesome with the equation filling the universe however, the final release was barren of actual fun gameplay, story and objectives.

Typhoon24 02.15.17	ow is fun as hell as everyone else here said but you can only truly enjoy it when people know what they're doing. there's nothing more annoying than playing quickplay and seeing 4 people lock in dps characters leaving 1 tank and healer max. kinda like league of legends back in the days before teams would be expected to have a jungler.

They've been consistently putting in new maps, game modes, heroes and events in. It's not "notorious" for a lack of content, it's actually one of the best games in terms of keeping it updated with content to freshen and liven up gameplay in such a short period of time. The micro-transactions are indeed dumb but aren't really a big enough deal to destroy the whole game -- they're really only a joke because they're a blemish on what would otherwise be a very well put together and generous game considering the developers know what the fans want and give free updates and content almost weekly. The micro-transactions are just one of those things that speaks more of the state of the industry at large more than it does the quality of the game. The characters are a wasted potential to build story? Even though they're releasing comics, short films and in-game voice lines that are consistently building a full worlds and story frequently? I don't understand what your criticism here is, they're doing a fantastic job and building compelling story and characters with free content constantly. The balancing issue is something that will ALWAYS be prevalent with a hero-based shooter of this scale, another reason why tweaks and balances take place weekly and allow players to test the changes on the PTR so the developers can maximise feedback and balance the game as needed to keep the game fair. If you're too shit to handle a Mei or Reaper (LOL) then that's your own problem. And the frequent balances also help keep the game fresh by basically re-writing the meta whenever they're put into place, allowing whole new playstyles and strategies to form. All in all, it's one of the best managed team-based shooters of this style and with the amount of free content supplied, it's more than worth the base price tag that has some of the most replay-ability of any game this past decade.

Astral Abortis 02.15.17	I think the lootboxes are handled poorly in general with the annoying and constant possibility of duplicates, which is the whole drive behind encouraging people to spend money on them. It's an awful system but again, not a big deal in any way.

Astral Abortis 02.15.17	I'm a Sombra main, sometimes the hate can be a bit much but it's always nice to hear "hey guys our sombra is actually pretty good" over the headset when they realise I've got three gold medals and am carrying the team. As for the Mac thing: 1. Never called myself a "gamer". 2. I barely use my Mac for gaming, I mostly use my Xbox but I do use my Mac for some old school RPGs, Diablo 2 and 3, Starcraft 2, DOTA 2 and Overwatch 3. I use a Mac because a Mac is what I have. I didn't buy the Mac for gaming, I bought the Mac because I love the OSX system and it's wonderful for running editing and production software, which is what I primarily use it for. 4. The "don't use Macs for gaming" thing only makes sense for games that a Mac can't run. I can run Overwatch smoothly on my Mac with no issues.
