Top 5 Personal Favorite Guitar Solos Of All Time

My personal favorites...please don't tell me my list is wrong.
1Pink Floyd
Comfortably Numb

David Gilmour

Absolutely flawless. So powerful and moving, wish it could go on forever. It is forever my favorite guitar solo of all time. Gilmour rules and so does this song's jaw-dropping solo.
2Metallica
One

Kirk Hammett

My god. At least 4 other songs could have made this list (Master, Unforgiven, Sandman, Orion, Fade To Black) but this tops them all due to sheer brilliance and shredding. Believe me, I love soulful solos, but this takes the cake for my love of shredding.
3Ozzy Osbourne
No More Tears

Zakk Wylde

Wylde is one of my all time favorite guitarists, and no wonder due to this solo. Starts off very melodic but soon becomes increasingly tricky and masterful. Incredible. Mr. Crowley is a far better solo, but this is a favorite.
4Dire Straits
Sultans Of Swing

Mark Knopfler

Very awesome. A picked solo??? Yes, a picked solo. Really upbeat and technical, Knopfler uses his virtuostic various finger-picking skills to really produce one of the most famous guitar solos of all time. I love it for that.
5Rush
La Villa Strangiato

Alex Lifeson

Whoo. Talk about buildup. Starts off like a whale song, slowly moves into a Hendrix-inspired tornado of torrential shred. Lifeson's greatest is by far his heaviest and most emotional solo off of my favorite Rush album.
