Yuppie Panic and Favourites

So My shift at work just got called off and I'm kinda freaking out b/c that's every day for the past two weeks, and the job hunt is going poorly, so to stave off my inevitable panic attack here's a list of my top 25 favorite artists and my favorite album from each.
1Radiohead
Kid A

While not my all time favorite album, (Kid takes the #3 spot on that list) radiohead's versitality, emotion and pure technical ability make these guys easily my favorite band.
2Beastie Boys
Paul's Boutique

Nonsense raps about girls, cowboys, and New York paired with always innovative production. Gateway artist like no other, getting me deeper into punk, hip hop and jazz, yet I always return to their albums the most. Paul's boutique more so than any other because of that godlike rap masterpiece of B-Boy Bouillabaisse
3The Beach Boys
Smiley Smile

God's own choir on loan to the human race. Pet sounds is by far their best, but smiley smile is just too...intimate for me to ignore. I have this on vinyl, and it's by far my most played BB vinyl.
4Gorillaz
Plastic Beach

Another gateway band that somehow surpasses all others from each genre I've checked out. Plastic beach is the closest to me because of tracks like stylo, on melancholy hill, and rhinestone eyes.
5Weezer
Pinkerton

The band that has had a place on my top 20 list for the 2nd longest (first is beach boys) these guys (and this album) basically made me realize how awesome music is. Been listening to them since I was 12, and I see my kids listening to this eventually.
6David Bowie
Blackstar

And inductee from last year, bowie's own versatility, emotion, technical ability, and sheer prowess in everything he does, has done nothing but blow me away from the beginning. It was a mistake getting into his work due to his death, but it was a mistake I recified a year ago. Blackstar remains my favorite due to its place as my first bowie. 2nd Bowie for me is Low, followed by Ziggy.
7Twenty One Pilots
Vessel

The band that actually got me my wife. We met at a concert (for Jimmy Eat World interestingly enough) each wearing a TOP t shirt. After that, the rest is hostory
8Brand New
Daisy

Yeah, daisy is better than TDAG for the brutal bait and switch of the first track alone. That and gasoline just happened to share a theme with a poem I was writing at the time.
9The Smiths
The Queen Is Dead

I got into Moz, Marr and company because of brand new actually. Dudes know me like they're reading directly from my journals.
10Childish Gambino
"Awaken, My Love!"
11I the mighty
Connector
12Death Cab for Cutie
Narrow Stairs
13Aesop Rock
The Impossible Kid
14Regina Spektor
Soviet Kitsch
15Blur
Think Tank
16St. Vincent
Marry Me
17Bon Iver
For Emma, Forever Ago
18Jimmy Eat World
Clarity
19Florence and the Machine
How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful
20Eyedea and Abilities
By the Throat
21Madvillain
Madvillainy

The artist is actually Mf doom, but this might just be my favorite doom project, with dangerdoom coming in close second
22CHVRCHES
Every Open Eye
23Astronautalis
The Mighty Ocean and Nine Dark Theaters

Fucking love this guy. Best combination of folk and hip hop i've ever seen
24Nujabes
Luv(sic) Hexalogy
25Panic! At the Disco
Too Weird to Live, Too Rare to Die!
