2Alex16
Compared to some of yall's, my 2016 was pretty calm and straightforward. Went to school, got the goody goody grades, no gf at any point, drove all over the place, got ~~hired~~ at weis, balled out with friends, and dropped like 78903421 ratings on sput. Think I listened to like ~225 albums from 2016, def not doing that in 2017, too much stuff from the past I still need to explore. Not gonna do descriptions for every album cause I'm not the greatest writer in the first place + yall have already read descriptions for at least 80% of these. So here it is. |

(Southern Hip Hop/(false)Trap) (THE OG VERSION)
Imperial is the album, or in this case mixtape, that defines my 2016. Denzel's flow through this thing is impeccable and the beats are just on another level from anything else I've heard this year. Imperial has at least one hook on every track, and unlike most hook-dominant albums, none of them miss. And to top it all, ULT is far and away my track of the year. Essential 2016 listen. |
