“Could you see me in your life? Could you try? Even after you've been gone for an actual endless amount of time.”
Lol idk i liked it. Saw them recently and they put on a great show. Songs make more sense in the context of their set.

“Surprise, you’re home.”
It’s good. Read my buddy’s review: http://www.sputnikmusic.com/review/70422/Deftones-Gore/

“Satellites with empty eyes
stalk along the starry countryside”
Yeah, sure, I liked Coffins on Io more than this. But I’ll follow this band into the abyss. PHOBOS is the synthiest record yet, but Keith’s live/programmed drums along with Ron’s awesome guitar parts make a sweet framework for Toby’s all encompassing weirdness. Also, that classic 5 song formula. Also also, interesting to have Byron lyrics overtop music that's this different from most other Kayo Dot records.
Fav Tracks: Rings of Earth, Brittle Urchin | 6 | | Mannequin Pussy Romantic | 5 | | Jeff Rosenstock Worry. | 4 | | Congenital Death Fucklove: Prophet of Death

“She births the ultimate soldier”
It’s fast and loud. It’s heavy and scary. Might be the freakiest hardcore record I’ve heard, but it’s so listenable and intense. Love the input from both vocalists. It’s only a three-piece, too!
Fav tracks: Om (All Good Things), Jenova | 2 | | Frameworks Smother

“The spirit to succeed as necessity”
A crushing sophomore record, couldn’t have asked for a better follow-up to 2014’s “Loom”. Read my review here: http://www.sputnikmusic.com/review/71097/Frameworks-Smother/
Fav tracks: Purge, Peculiar People | 1 | | Bon Iver 22, A Million

“Honey, understand that I have been left here in the reeds”
Clad with an orchestra of synthetic instruments, horns, some piano, a limited amount guitar and heavenly falsetto, Bon Iver delivers a substantial offering with 22, A Million. Reflections of the previous two records twinkle in the eye of this new monolith of numbers and esoteric symbols. This album seems pretentious, but I feel that it’s kind of necessary. Justin breaks away from the success of “Bon Iver, Bon Iver” with this glitchy masterpiece. If you don’t believe me, listen to CREEKS. God Damn. Let it take care of you.

12.09.16 | 1 is definitely a masterpiece. Interested to see how (and when) Vernon will follow it up. For me 22, A Million, Blonde and Teens of Denial were the definite highlights. | OldCrime
