AsleepInTheBack 12.02.16	Still kind of wished that he played Farther's Day and Plain Sailing Weather, but otherwise it was basically flawless. Good job Frank
AngryJohnny 12.02.16	one of the best live acts I've seen. His Nottingham Rock City show last year was brilliant. Pretty cool that you got to see him play Redemption and Love, Ire and Song. Haven't caught those live myself.
AsleepInTheBack 12.02.16	Agreed. The second time I saw him he played Love, Ire and Song as a request which was pretty awesome, but that meant him playing it this time wasn't as special. Redemption was fantastic though, he finished it and then said something along the lines of 'Wow, haven't played that one it a while, I should do that more often' and then thanked the crowd for reacting so well.
AngryJohnny 12.02.16	Maybe next time I'll get lucky and see it. I have seen him play To Take You Home and The Real Damage on separate occasions though, both great. I hate it when artists play the exact same set every night of a tour, safe to say Frank puts in a bit more effort than that

AsleepInTheBack 12.02.16	Envious that you got to hear To Take You Home and The Real Damage, love those. Huh, didn't know he'd gone sober. Fair play to him, every show I've been to he's seemed sober and they've been fantastic.
BlushfulHippocrene 12.04.16	Sounds insane, man, glad he performed some stuff from Sleep is for the Week. What was the wall of hugs like? Was it sort of just a crowd of people bunched up together? Finding it so hard to imagine, but sounds like fun.
AsleepInTheBack 12.04.16	@Jom yeah it was the most intimate gig I've seen him at, was particularly special for that reason @Blushful yeah the older song really made the night for me I think. The wall of hugs was a bit of a mess haha, both sides of the room ran at each other as if it were a wall of death but then everyone just hugged the closest stranger they could find, so it did end up being a bunched up crowd of hugging people in the end. Was really silly but an awesome moment. He made a short speech about how this year has sucked with Brexit and Trump and rising intolerance etc. and that we should all just be kind to everyone regardless of anything, solid message and a fun way to embrace it.
BlushfulHippocrene 12.04.16	Yeah, that's so neat. It sounds like a fun crowd, so positive. I can imagine people shouting along to his songs, too, a lot of them warrant that.
