11.23.16 | don't even listen to much stuff like this anymore, but damn it sounds pretty tight. |

11.23.16 | Was the album title perhaps influenced by the CoL song? |
PitchforkArms
11.23.16 | indeed it was, so was my username! good catch |
FullOfSounds
11.23.16 | Dope, I'll give this a listen in a lil bit |

11.24.16 | You've got a powerful voice man |
PitchforkArms
11.24.16 | i appreciate that, man! |

11.24.16 | I know a lot of users here will have way better constructive feedback than I could muster considering my inexperience with this type of music, but this was really good.
I get bored with a few bands on this list, but at the end of the EP I was kind of hoping to hear more. I think the brevity works in it's favor and the more aggressive parts were great and didn't seem forced. Good work. |
PitchforkArms
11.24.16 | dbizz, thanks for the kind words! |
Astral Abortis
11.24.16 | The music here's really good but the production is absolutely befuddling! Everything sounds so buried and muddied in just...idk, sound? If that makes sense. It's like the instruments and vocals are all at the back and at the front of the mix there's just this foggy reflection of sound. I can't really explain it well but it sounds so odd.
EDIT: Upon more listening it kinda sounds like someone has EQ'd this to round out all the high end frequencies? The high end of all these songs sound ultra flat rather than nice and sharp. |
FullOfSounds
11.24.16 | Agreed with what Ov said |
Astral Abortis
11.24.16 | A bit bummed that Falling Asleep in Public Places didn't make the final cut for this one too, that one was a total Menzingers rip-off but I loved it. Otherwise yeah really good job, just work on getting some clearer production/mixing |
Ryus
11.24.16 | not my kind of thing but if the production is cleared up then i could see people liking this a lot, great work |
PitchforkArms
11.24.16 | See, as a group, we liked the cluttered production, but I appreciate the listens and constructive feedback |
PitchforkArms
11.24.16 | In all honesty, you few guys are the first people to not like the production. thusfar it's the first thing people have been complimenting! |
GaugeOT
11.24.16 | nice work |
dbizzles
11.24.16 | I didn't really have a problem with the production. I thought it fit well. Some transitions between songs were a little rough, but I didn't mind much. |
zakalwe
11.24.16 | I take my hat off to you in achieving the impossible. You originate from Detroit and sound soft as shite. |
Vildh
11.28.16 | loads of Cult of Luna references, gotta like it |
wwf
11.28.16 | I love this btw, anyone talking about the production is most likely talking about how insanely compressed and layered and distorted this is. I like it a fair bit, doesn't always work for my tastes but it's definitely great for the most part. |
PitchforkArms
11.28.16 | Yeah man, i did a whole lot of harmonic saturation and chained compressors in mixing, and our mastering engineer even moreso. Thanks though! |
DungeonBoy
11.28.16 | I don't mind the production dude, I think it works with the sound. Not what I expected based on the albums in the list, but a pretty solid EP man. Good job, your vocals sound great for this style. |
PitchforkArms
11.28.16 | Appreciate it, man! |

11.28.16 | Vocals definitely make this |
