I experience the opposite quite a bit, like it's heavily underrated and really not that bad, or I'm disappointed that I don't like it as much as the average user.

In a couple of years you'll be listening to everything from new age to tuvan throat singing mixed with bulgarian traditional folk. And with all the music you've heard you'll have a base for comparison and your standards will rise
