11.17.16 | Beats are the worst, why even mentioning them. Also bose tend to make quality headphones that have superior sound quality. |

11.17.16 | "Also bose tend to make quality headphones that have superior sound quality."
respective to a casual consumer that is. Not very audiophile friendly but easily enjoyable. Sound sig is kinda close to beats but at least Bose products are build really well |

11.17.16 | I have generation one Sennheiser momentum's and I love them, had them for a while too and they still kick ass. New ones are like 500 dollars but you can score the first generation for a pretty fair price now. |
neekafat

idek fam. I just know $200 for headphones seems like a lot when the ones I got ages ago sound fine? I've never used legit fancy ones so I have no idea what I'm missing, or if what I'm missing is worth another >$150. |
jagride
11.17.16 | i only use standard apple earbuds cos i want to hear the music the way steve intended |

11.17.16 | The thing about the best low-fi bm albums is that while they're miserably recorded, they're brilliantly mixed. |
MoosechriS
11.17.16 | I need to invest in a good pair of headphone for home at some point, i spent a fair amount upgrading my hifi a few months back which sounds gorgeous and has got me wanting better headphones now. |

11.18.16 | For home use:
Get the Philips Fidelio X2 or AKG K7XX from Massdrop - these headphones are in the 200-300 dollar territory, which is the sweet spot for value for money. Headphones that cost more than 300 start to give diminishing returns. |

This...so much. Get some good cans, like Beyerdynamics DT770's or Audio Technica M50's, or high-end Sennheisers, listen to music with them for a month or so, then try going back to those $30 headphones. It's rough, man. It's like eating pizza at Giordano's in Chicago, and then trying to go back to Domino's. |

11.18.16 | Going to the local audio mall. Wish me luck guys. |
