Lesser Known Digs 2
Had to add a few of these to the database so I guess they're worth mentioning here and worth some attention |
1 | | Paper Void Increments
Jazzy R&B/Hip-Hop - this is excellent and shouldn't go unnoticed, fans of Hiatus Kaiyote defs check |
2 | | Fakear Animal
Electronic - not that much of a stretch from mainstream Electronic stuff but it is certainly more textured and dynamic |
3 | | Fox Wound In Passing, You Too Faded
Emo/Post-Hardcore - pretty messy but there's a lot of ideas at play here and when it works it works well |
4 | | The Japanese House Swim Against the Tide
Indie-Pop/Folk - sugary and emotional Indie-Pop with some unique production flourishes |
5 | | Darknet Self-Titled
Metalcore/Nu-Metal - the first numetalcore album I've actually not minded this year, amps up the depraved factor a bit to make up for the corniness of it all |
6 | | Client Liasion Diplomatic Immunity
Funk/Electro-Pop - wasn't totally enamoured with this but people who enjoy Pop with a Funk edge should check, plus it has a bit of didgeridoo |
7 | | Tinashe Nightride
R&B - way more down-tempo and alternative than her latest batch of singles would have you expect |
8 | | D.D Dumbo Utopia Defeated
Indie-Rock - pretty dynamic Indie-Rock album with plenty of experimentation and a great vocal performance |
