| Sad Songs Which I Love Even In A Good Mood

Those being the only two sad songs I can listen to off the album without making me particularly sad, I had to include them both. Don't know why, but I always feel they work better when listened to together. | | 11 | Green Day

Don't tell me it's not sad! It most certainly is, from the very underrated album of The 7 Day Theory. I reccommend you check it out if you don't have it. | | 13 | Nirvana
Oh Me
Oh yes, Oh Me is one of the most underrated Nirvana songs, I feel. All of the Meat Puppets covers are excellent, but I find this easier to listen to than Lake Of Fire and Plateau. | | 14 | System Of A Down

When people ask me my favourite song of all time, I will almost always answer this one. The most listened to song on my itunes, but I won't bore you with how many times I've listened to it. The power of this song hasn't worn off, even after so many listens. I probably won't ever get bored of it. I cry to this when I'm sad, but just get absorbed when I'm not. | |

Plus, I'm only 14, and I've only really been into music for a couple of years max, so I've still got a way to go in terms of developing tastes. I'm pretty proud of how deep I go, actually. 08.20.08 | there's some overhyped teenie stuff here, but some really amazing songs as well. Hurt is indeed one of the saddest songs ever written imo, one of the few songs that really has the power to make someone cry.
8 is great as well, 5 & 10 are also good and 11 too (I do believe it's one of their best as well, though I'm really not a big fan of either the band nor that album)
I think you'll find your way through to really great music anyway, but nevertheless I'd like to recommend some more classic stuff like The Who are. Check out Led Zeppelin, King Crimson, Rolling Stones, The Beatles and some more Pink Floyd. it's always good if you have some knowledge of where today's music comes from. | Spamue1G
08.20.08 | Thrice is a name I've been hearing a lot, I'll try them. My mum has like every Rolling Stones CD there is, so that's pretty easy, and I have a lot of Pink Floyd. Led Zeppelin sound a bit dated... I haven't heard much of their stuff, but I'll try a bit. I'm not really a fan of The Beatles, but King Crimson is another band I should check out.
