But in retrospect, I think the timing at which I heard those (City of Evil in particular) was the determining factor of my interest. I can't fucking do Shadows vocals, I just can't. 2.7 |

My first time listening to a Russian Circles album front to back. Really dug the overall feel, instrumentation, and room to breathe. When it goes, it goes hard. But the bits of silence between the chaos is perfectly placed. 3.3 |

I was kind of underwhelmed by this release, all the songs are amazing on their own, but the album as a whole tends to drone on in a very over comfortable manner. However, Daydreamer is probably my favorite all-time song from these dudes. 3.5 |
