tempest--
10.02.16 | idk that looks fucking terrible i think i would rather not play drums than play on that thing |
beefshoes
10.02.16 | Whatever you do, make sure it has MIDI capability and get a decent virtual drumkit to sample. Unless you pay out of the fucking ass, stock samples are going to sound terrible. |

10.02.16 | Buy a old Guitar Hero World Tour drum set and load some dank samples into it through yr daw. it's got midi and you could just output it through yr headphone jack or whatever speakers are hooked up to your computer.
Cheap as hell option and feels more like a real set than a table top. |

10.02.16 | what beefshoes said; otherwise play hamboning |
ScuroFantasma
10.02.16 | Agreed with tempest, why not get one of those cheap electronic sets that look like actual drum kits but with pads instead? They're not that expensive, I'm sure you could get one online or secondhand and it would be miles better than a table top one. |

10.02.16 | I have an alesis dm 8 pro for my condo and I like it quite a bit but I'm not sure I would be very happy playing anything below that model. The pads are nice and responsive and the samples aren't bad. I just can't see a 300 dollar kit being legitimate. Set up your kit at a friends or parents house for practice? That's what I would do until I saved up for something a little better. |

10.02.16 | Yo just saw a pic of that tabletop. As a drummer I felt offended just looking at it. |
AlexKzillion
10.02.16 | Didn't exactly know what a table top set was until I looked it up, and I have concluded that you must stay as far away from it as possible. You might as well just practice on a literal table. |
theNateman
10.02.16 | Yeah that's what I thought; that tabletops are toys. But the DD65 is meant for the gigging drummer, according to the fifteen or so reviews I watched on YouTube. Even a professional electric drum blog I came across put it in their top five favorite kits
It still looks like crap.

climactic

10.02.16 | MY friend used to use a TD-9 and it was pretty good for what it was tbh |
theNateman
10.09.16 | td-9's just a sample part tho. The actual drumkit part no longer exists :/
FUUUUHHK i hate being broke. |
