A handgun can have a high round magazine that takes very little time to swap and continue without training. I have a feeling you don't have much firearms experience...

I like them, but people shouldn't be able to readily purchase firearms. plenty of other ways to defend yourself without a weapon designed specifically to kill. everyone has an anecdotal reason for why they need one - it's like a collective selfishness. banning firearms would reduce firearm-based deaths, and several comparable countries have tried it and succeeded

The HSC and long gun tests are a joke and universal background checks should be a non issue. If they take weapons from citizens law enforcement should not regularly carry weapons either. Now try to ban anything you can use to create explosives. Banning guns will simply reduce deaths by guns. The guy in Paris, used a large truck to run down the crowded streets. Point is absolutely valid. If you actually read what I said however you see I am not completely against some gun control. Also as someone else said roughly 60% of firearms deaths are suicides so you're more likely to prevent someone from killing themselves versus anyone else. Mass shootings happen to get all the attention.

JAV 09.21.16	I tried a 50 cal sniper once, it was a weird experience but I would like to try it again. They had it mounted on a table and I'm sitting in a chair leaning forward aiming, I take the shot and I realize I'm sitting straight up right after. It was like being pushed back versus a violent recoil.
