50iL 09.18.16	I'd love to play prog death with jazz fundamentals with maybe even some orchestration/free improv/avant garde in. Just sounds like a nice, fun challenge. The prog part would be less dominant, it'd be more of an addition rather than a substantial genre.

50iL 09.18.16	That's exactly the challenge though. I want something hard, not easy. Otherwise, I'd just be bored. And I think the death and jazz would alternate; sometimes death with jazz and sometimes jazz with death. I don't think I explained it well but it'd help in songwriting. Much like Cynic did on Focus, actually. I'd just add some improv and maybe some brass instruments.

Everything I come up with on guitar is like alty gazey indie mathy shit or some kind of Clapton worship shit and anything I come up on the drums is all mathy too and I think it would sound really cool if I could just actually write some coherent songs.
wtferrothorn 09.18.16	I'd see myself making a lot of chill, yet glitchy sample-based music. I've always found the idea of crafting sounds from ordinary objects really interesting.
