Storm In A Teacup: Who still plays Skyrim?

Storm In A Teacup 09.06.16	so yeah my first run through was as a dark elf (lvl84) 900 hours then a high elf (lvl45) for 350 hours and now I'm a wood elf (lvl100) for 250 hours. Trying to get it perfect so that I'm all powerful but not so overpowered that bosses can't kill me after a few minutes. I really want an epic playthrough of all the main story quests including the thieves guild and mages etc

Snide 09.06.16	I still play, I'm almost always a Nord and I'm seriously hyped for the remaster coming in October (especially since because I have all the DLC I get the remaster for free). I'm about to start a new save file though but I'm re-modding the game currently.

Storm In A Teacup 09.06.16	My friends got it on pc and said they played it for about twenty hours with mods and did everything that could be done and it's a horrible game but I feel like that's the worst possible way to try and play the game. Mod free you get it how it was supposed to be. Although I will admit some mods do make the game better, to say the game sucks comes off as really bland and biased to me. Although I've played it for 1500 hours so who the fuck is biased lol

ConcubinaryCode 09.06.16	I read an interview where one of the designers(?) said they don't think they would remaster morrowind because it's too different from skyrim. So basically they don't want to lose sales and they think people would be too dumb to figure the game out. Really disappointing to hear because the combat I the game needs a definite overhaul.

ConcubinaryCode 09.06.16	I'm sure it leads to a decent chunk of sales that way but the majority of gamers arent kids. It's basically down to the games industry pumping a sickening amount of money into a game so they want to make a good amount on the returns. So it helps to be a game that can appeal to a wide array of people like the gta series or even skyrim.

Shemson 09.26.16	CDPR are such great developers man, they put so much love and care into their games. Both DLC storylines were outstanding as well as the main quest and all side quests! There was no part of that game I didn't feel completely engrossed in tbh.

TalonsOfFire 09.26.16	Played Skyrim two days ago, always more quests to do it seems. It's definitely one of my favorite modern games, and agreed with the people who say Witcher III is perfect for Skyrim fans. I need to get into ESO more, but all the differences with the way it works can be confusing for someone who hasn't really played MMO-RPGs before.
Storm In A Teacup 09.26.16	yeah 400 quests done on each playthrough and I still find stuff I haven't even done before. I also like how there are so many unique bosses. the two final bosses of the game are pretty sweet. The Ebony Warrior is so much easier to beat than stupid Karstaag. ugh he grinds my gears.
Shemson 09.26.16	I never bothered buying ESO because it's an online game and when I play video games I play them to escape the world, I don't want to interact with other people. Am I wrong in thinking like this with ESO?

ConcubinaryCode 09.26.16	^no there's still people running around because it is an mmo after all. I'm almost certain it's that you can turn off chat voice and ignore all interactions. People still pop up but they don't block or hinder you at all. You can do things on your own. Also storm didn't mention the skyrim remaster is bringing mods to the Xbox one if anyone owns that thing.

Sinternet 12.04.16	i never finished it the first time so i've been playing it again recently (although kinda stopped because that big no man's sky update dropped) but it's been real fun so far if a bit repetitive, there are some pretty good character mods which make it 10x better because i don't have to stare at my character's ugly arse rat hair any more
