| The Colour in Anything vs. Blonde
What do you guys think? Two highly anticipated albums I feel are comparable from two of the most exciting in the game. | 1 | | James Blake The Colour in Anything
Personally, I'm going TCiA. It's actually probably my AOTY. Aside from four or five tracks it's an absolute masterwork that becomes even more apparent with each listen. | 2 | | Frank Ocean Blonde
Solid 3.5. Great album but undoubtedly somewhat overrated. A number of throwaway tracks and I can't help but feel a lot of people wanted more "meat" to a lot of these songs. Also, can someone tell me why White Ferrari is so great? | |

09.01.16 | Both are pretty average, imo. | Maniac!
09.01.16 | 1 rulez
2 droolz | Halfman
09.01.16 | I'd have to go with my boy James, as well. Seeing him at the Chicago Theater in October. Can't wait. | davidwave4
09.01.16 | I think it's clear that James influenced a lot of Frank's album (he produced some songs on it, and wrote too). Personally, I think TCIA is a more forceful and singular work, but that doesn't mean that Blonde isn't good. It's very good, but it's not all that great. |
