2016 Grindcore so far

While I'm waiting for Wormrot to release their new album, which will probably be the best grindcore release of the year, here are my favorites from 2016 so far.
1Chepang
Lathi Charge

Supercharged Discordance-esque grind

2Control (CA - Oakland)
The Teeth & The Wounds

This band does Nails better than Nails

https://refusecontrol.bandcamp.com/
3Michel Anoia
Plethora

Mathcore/tech-death with some grind elements

https://anoia.bandcamp.com/
4Amnesian
Amnesian

Really cool metallic grind with slight sludge elements

5Livet Som Insats
Check Your Grind

Up there with Wormrot in terms of humor and fun factor. Music is a little more on the punk side.

6Blurricane
Monday Morning Life

Jagged, noisy mathgrind

7Malevich
Only the Flies

Blackened grindcore with some slower, sludgy songs. They don't always blend the styles super well, but bonus points because the vocalist sounds like the dilophosaurus in Jurassic Park.

8Nails
You Will Never Be One of Us

Doesn't capture the atmosphere I really liked in their previous releases, but there are still tons of riffs. They Come Crawling Back is a little out of place, and a couple other songs drag a little, but there's enough here to love.
9Goolagoon
Life of Crime

More powerviolence than grind. I was pleasantly surprised because I hated this band's first demo. Life of Crime uses samples much more sparingly and tastefully, and their songwriting is much improved. Actually kind of looking forward to what they do next.

10Ash Mouth
Ash Mouth

One of the more palatable metallic hardcore releases I've heard this year that would probably drag on too much if it were longer.

11Magrudergrind
II

Unfortunately this record does drag on a bit too long. That said, it is still pretty solid punk-ish grind. I didn't love their s/t as much as other people, so this isn't really a disappointment, just kind of what I expected.

12Blank Look
Pain

Musically kind of like Nails-lite, but with more 80s-hardcore-esque vocals. A little bland, but not bad.
