Ocean of Noise 08.04.16	In what way does Sabotage "show some withering of their once legendary formula"? It sounds completely different from the previous albums.
miketunneyiscool123 08.04.16	@Ocean That's the point. Their legendary formula is "never making the same album twice," but I feel that album showed signs of weakness towards their appeal for synthesizers and shit. I respect the changes but don't personally like all of it.

Typhoon24 08.04.16	lord of this world's riffs feel a lot like a mix of iron man and war pigs. the solo feels like a follow up to war pigs. sweet leaf and after forever, too, but to a lesser degree...I really like those songs but I feel black sabbath already did "that" on their last album children of the grave and the rest are a lot more original

miketunneyiscool123 08.04.16	I can see "Sweet Leaf" as far as the "Iron Man" comparison, and I can see the "After Forever" comparison to "War Pigs," but you should also realized how similar riffs and songs can be even as early as those times. "Master of Puppets" and "One" riffs can be heard in hundreds of songs, but some of those songs are strong or unique enough to compensate for it. Such is the case for Sabbath too. Their material on both albums was strong and unique enough on their own to be differentiated from each other if a bit similar in parts.

I'm not in love with 11 either although it's their best since their Dio days imo. So I adjusted the list just a tad bit to make it more fair, but I still hold firm with certain albums.

miketunneyiscool123 08.05.16	@wham as good as the highs are on Vol. 4, Heaven And Hell kicks so much ass. Every song rules, and it's got the title track and Neon Nights for god sake. Still debating if I like Mob Rules better than Vol. 4, but right now I do.

wham49 08.05.16	sorry Mike disagree, H&H is a very good album, but I look at it as a DIo solo album with a ridiculously great backing band, when I hear it, that is what I think; "this is a Dio album not a Sabbath album" and their is no way Mob is even close to V4 or Sabotage, not even close
