post-bm binge digs

Really digging these albums lately. On a bit of post-bm/shoegaze kick, recs welcome
1Alcest
Shelter

Never really gave this album the time of day before which was a mistake. I especially love the first 3 songs.
2Oak Pantheon
In Pieces

I still have yet to hear their debut, but this really surprised me. The agalloch comparisons are warranted, but I think they've proven they're more than just a mindless agalloch clone. Listen to Climb and Burden of Growth (or just the whole album)
3Ashbringer
Yūgen

post black metal with some ambient/symphonic sections. good stuff
4Numenorean
Home

great blackgaze album. recently had to bump my score up, 'home' and 'devour' are excellent
5Wildernessking
Mystical Future

another post-bm release with a vocalist that sounds quite similar to falls of rauros at times. The closing track is the definite standout on this one
6Panopticon
Revisions of the Past

I'm definitely liking the first part of this remaster (on the subject of mortality). The social disservices remaster not so much. I hadn't heard the originals, but the first half of this is very solid and has got me interested to hear some more of his older stuff
7Coldworld
Autumn

the album that started my recent bm binge. most people already know how I feel about this one, but the last 3 tracks are especially stunning. Nightfall could become one of my favorite songs in the genre
8Drudkh
Eternal Turn of the Wheel

Underrated Drudkh. Definitely the best of their last three LPs
