Consistently Good Bands

What bands do you think continually produce excellent music? Discuss below, and feel free to tell me if you agree or disagree with the artists on the list.
1The National
Trouble Will Find Me

I haven't heard their debut, and Sad Songs was a pretty decent record (I haven't rated it because I need to listen to it more to form a complete opinion). Then, after Sad Songs, they went on to release Alligator, Boxer, and High Violet, which are three of the finest rock albums I've ever heard. This album is easily my least favorite since Sad Songs, but that's not saying a lot considering it's going against their previous three; it still is a gem of indie rock.
2Converge
All We Love We Leave Behind

Massachusetts hardcore 4-piece Converge have been putting out top-notch material ever since the late 90s. With the exception of their debut, basically everything they have released has been amazing. No Heroes has arguably been their weakest release since their debut, but just as is the case with The National, that isn't saying much.
3Death Grips
Bottomless Pit

Constantly pushing genre boundaries and releasing album after album, Death Grips definitely deserves a place on this list. Every release has a different sound to it, and every release goes to new extremes that no other band would dare to experiment with. Death Grips pull it off, though, and the result is a fantastic new album (or two) every year.
4Nails
You Will Never Be One of Us

Although it's a bit hard to say at this point, seeing as how this band has released under an hour of LP material, these guys are one of the best hardcore bands of the recent years. The only emotion that they convey through their music is anger, and man, does it come across clearly. It's noisy and inaccessible and chaotic, but it's also incredibly good, and the band has yet to release a sub-par album.
5Oneohtrix Point Never
Garden of Delete

OPN is constantly implementing new influences into his music, with his older work being rooted in drone and his newer work borrowing elements from glitch and IDM. I haven't heard his entire discography, but everything that I have heard has been top-notch. It's rare to find an electronic/experimental artist who is able to release a totally unique album time and time again, so it's safe to say that OPN is a true gem of electronic and experimental music.
