Blink-182 albums ranked from worst to best

Blink-182 is probably one of my favorite bands. With their catchy and energetic (sometimes even thoughtfull) songs they never start too grow old. With Blink-182's new album coming out I decided to visit their older albums and rank them from least favorite to favorite.
8Blink-182
California

I was really excited for this album. Too bad it just didn't live up to the hype. There are some super commercial and generic songs like Sober on here that make me tired after one single listen. Matt Skiba is a better replacement of Tom than you could ever imagine, but the songwriting just took a couple of noticable steps backwards. Not terrible, but not great either. Some amazing songs like Left Alone, Cynical and San Diego, but mostly disappointing

Cheshire Cat

This is their debut album and that really shows. Immature lyrics, Mark and Tom's voices aren't fully grown and not the best production. If you look through this you will find a pretty good album though. With memorable and fun lyrics, great instrumentation and a lot of energy. However, the lyrical themes are pretty cliché and the vocals aren't that great yet. There are also some really weak songs on here like Just About Done. On the contrary, there are actually some really amazing ones as well like Carousel, M+M's and Touchdown Boy. A really uneven album a times, but the good still outways the bad by a lot.
6Blink-182
Neighborhoods

This is probably Blink's most smashed album. However, I really disagree with the people who hate on this thing. It isn't perfect, but it's still quite good. The production is probably the worst since their debut, but the songwriting is definitely better. Ghost On The Dancefloor and Natives show a lot of maturity in the lyrics and are great songs to listen to. Heart's All Gone brings us a taste of the old Blink-182. Tom and Mark both don't sound amazing, but it isn't really that annoying. This is their most mature album and that really shows. Solid and mature lyrics, some amazing songs and a lack of terrible songs make this a pretty great album. Definitely not their best, but still a great listen for any Blink-182 fan or fan of more serious pop-punk with a little of experimentation.
5Blink-182
Dude Ranch

A very punk sounding Blink-182 album. Some people might call me crazy for only ranking it number 5, but I actually enjoy their more poppy albums more. Not to say that this album isn't amazing though. The album is filled with fast and energetic punk songs. The songs are mostly guitar driven, but the bass work is actually really solid with a couple of little bass solos here and there. The bass is pretty much always audible and enjoyable. The drumming isn't anything amazing, but it adds to the punk feel of the album and is fast and fun to hear. Stand out tracks for me are Dammit, Untitled and Pathetic.
4Blink-182
Take Off Your Pants and Jacket

Very close to Enema Of The State on my list. The album is filled with fun and catchy songs. Every single song is memorable and amazing. This was probably their most poppy album until the release of California and that works out in their favour here. This is simply put an amazing pop-punk album. The standout tracks for me being Anthem Part 2, Online Songs, Rollercoaster and Please Take Me Home. However, the album is so catchy and filled with hooks that it can get tiresome some times and that's why it ranks fourth on the list.
3Blink-182
Enema of the State

Enema Of The State is definitely Blink's most popular album. Every rock radio listener knows the singles and every pop-punk fan knows them by heart. A super solid album over all, without a single bad song. Every song is up to par and the singles are actually not the best songs on the album. Dysentary Gary, Dumpweed and Wendy Clear get that honor. Every song has a memorable riff and even though all the songs follow the same formula, the formula just works super well.
2Blink-182
The Mark, Tom, And Travis Show

This album is their most fun outting to date. It's a "live" album consisting of songs from their first three albums. The songs are stringed together with some childish jokes and the occasional joke song. The songs itself are all very fast and quick. They're filled with energy and fun lyrics. There are also three joke songs added, which are actually really funny, and a new song called Man Overboard. Man Overboard is the only studio track and isn't live, but it is still amazing and is probably one of the better Blink-182 songs.
1Blink-182
Blink-182

Without a doubt my favorite Blink-182 album. This album has everything you can ever want in a pop-punk album. It's instrumentals are absolutely stunning. With gorgeous production that makes everything sound grand and epic. The lyrics are surprisingly solid for a pop-punk album. With most of the songs focused on break-ups, but than thought out really well. The songwriting is also excellent. Every song feels unique and adds something new. A lot of experimentation and better thought out song structures
This album is an absolute classic.
