| Lil' Antlers Story
Thought I'd share this because I know there's some hardcore The Antlers fans on here and I just remembered the occurrence because they made their way onto my spotify just now after having not jammed them in a while. So last year was my first year in college and I got a job at a nice little cafe that had a nice indie friendly environment to it, not too huge. Maybe my second week of working there I was at the register. It's a totally packed day, tons of people coming in. I see Peter (the frontman) walk in through the door and I'm like, "wait a minute, holy shit!" And if I didn't know what he looked like from the bio pics they have on spotify of the band I would have never known. He comes in and I take his order and after he's all set I ask him if he's the singer of The Antlers. He's like, "you're very correct!" At this point I'm fanboying hardcore on the inside because this is basically my first time talking to someone in a relatively well known band (I've met august burns red but not like this) So after I get him his coffee and shit I ask him what he's doing here, and he says, "well we were here last night performing at the verizon stadium with death cab for cutie and we're just kind of enjoying the city right now in." I'm like, "fuck I totally would've came to see you guys if I was aware of it" So for a minute I'm super bummed out. He reaches into his pocket and starts doing something on his phone. He asks me my name and stuff so I oblige and he puts me and my gf at the time on the VIP list for their next show the next day right outside of boston. He leaves after all of his order is taken care of, "Have a good one man" "Same to you!" I'm flabbergasted at this. My coworkers are like, "what the fuck just happened?" So I explain to them and that was probably the luckiest thing ever because if someone else was working the register I probably wouldn't had seen him. I go to the show the next day and it's their last show of the Familiars tour - which would've been sold out | 1 | | The Antlers Undersea
So yea, that was one of the best moments ever last year and it was my first "real" concert besides moshing and shit to some metalcore bands. | 2 | | Elvis Depressedly Holo Pleasures

06.23.16 | Lovely, honestly. I've met a few cats to say the least over the years and its always pretty neat, definitely moves the day along on a good note that's for sure. The Antlers -Familiars was my favorite record of 2014 too :) | DinosaurJones
06.23.16 | I met Ben Burnley from Breaking Benjamin right around the same Saturate came out. He used to come into the music store I worked at. He was already a dick back then. | BullettoBinary2
06.23.16 | This sounds amazing. I had the pleasure of seeing my favorite band, mewithoutYou, about a month ago for the first time and what a memorable show it was. Was able to pick up one of the limited edition tour singles. The show was great, and I got a set list from their bass player. Then after I ran into the sound guy for the band and asked if I could possibly get my stuff signed. He took me out to the tour bus where I met 3 of the 5 band members. I was so fortunate... and turns out one of those guys left the band and their beloved tour bus broke down so it was basically the last chance i couldve seen that stuff | BullettoBinary2
